After collection from your hotel, together with your Blue Mountains Tours Personal Tour Guide , we will follow the footsteps of the first explorers as we leave Sydney in one of our new, state of the art Mercedes-Benz buses include USB sockets for all type of mobile phone or tablets and head west.
A short drive for an hour we will cross the famous Nepean River Penrith valley, the Fragrance and Aroma’s coffee welcome us to our relax Morning Tea. The Café located in the heart of Glenbrook Village, the Lower Blue Mountains at the entrance to the Glenbrook National Park. The café is very much an integral part of the village culture and providing the local great coffee, delicious homemade fresh biscuits Jam & cream.
From there, we begin the scenic drive to the top of the 1,100 meter to the Cliff Drive Rd included a panoramic drive of the mountains breathtaking views well as the Blue Mountains National Park. This will be the first of many excellent photo opportunities you’ll have during the day of the wonders that make up our Blue Mountains One Day Discovery Tour.
Catch your breath as we transport you from a cable car* to ride the world’s steepest passenger railway line*, at Scenic World. After the 270 meter ascent, you’ll be awarded with a wonderful view of the Katoomba Falls as well as the famous Three Sisters rock formation. Wander through an ancient rainforest on the Scenic Walkway, an elevated boardwalk which offers 160 million years’ worth of natural history.
We will continue a short drive the famous Echo point lookout, watch the Rock formation closer, and then visit the Waradah Aboriginal Culture House. This attraction allows visitors to meet local aborigines who will share intimate details about their culture as well as stories that have been passed down for thousands of years.
We don’t want to share too much information about the next stop on our Blue Mountains Tours day trip. A ferry ride along the Parramatta River leads us to Glenville Bridge and the Sydney Harbour where you get to enjoy the excellent view of the world famous Sydney Opera House before heading to Circular Quay. The Blue Mountains day tour ends back in Sydney, usually around 5 pm.
